Pilgrimage Scheme for senior citizens
Under this scheme,the state government will provide assistance to people aged 60 and above to visit various religious places across the country in train and bus. The state government will bear travel, food and living expenditure and provide free healthcare to them. The state tourism department will be the nodal department for the implementation of the pilgrimage scheme, said the Chief Minister who chaired a meeting in this regard on Thursday.
