The state government constituted a three-member panel to take stock of the situation on the ground.The panel comprising officials from state horticulture and supplies departments and one from Odisha State Co-operative Marketing Federation Limited (MARKFED) would visit Balangir and Kalahandi, two highest onion producing districts and submit a report to the state government on May 27 following which a contingency plan would be finalized, official sources said.
