The state government has decided to spend Rs 364 crore during the next three years to create 35 percent irrigation potential in the backward tribal district of Nabarangpur.A decision to this effect was taken at a high-level meeting presided over by chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik at the secretariat . The funds will be utilised to start four mega lift projects and construct 114 check dams.
