Odisha rolls out plan to bring back stranded workers from Gujarat & Maharashtra

To bring back stranded Odia workers from Gujarat and Maharashtra safely, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has discussed with his Gujarat counterpart Vijay Rupani, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thakrey and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan through video conferencing.

 

Odisha CM announced that the stranded workers will be brought back to the State through buses while other modes of transport will also be explored. Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh governments have been requested to waive of road tax on these buses.
